Internal Security evacuates civilians from Aleppo neighborhoods after SDF attacks

Aleppo, Dec. 22 (SANA) Colonel Muhammad Abd al-Ghani, head of Internal Security in Aleppo, confirmed Monday that security forces are working to evacuate civilians and ensure their safety in areas targeted by SDF attacks. This operation reflects the directorate’s commitment to protecting citizens and safeguarding public and private property, with intensified security deployments across the city to maintain stability.

In a statement shared on the Ministry of Interior’s Telegram channel, Colonel Abd al-Ghani issued a firm warning to anyone attempting to threaten Aleppo’s security or the safety of its residents, affirming that such actions will be met with strict legal measures.

He added that security teams are operating carefully and responsibly, focusing on neighborhoods such as Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh, emphasizing that protecting civilians remains a top priority.

Colonel Abd al-Ghani also called on all citizens to cooperate with security forces to preserve the city’s safety and stability.

Earlier today, two civilians were killed and eight others injured in SDF attacks involving mortars and rocket launchers targeting multiple neighborhoods in Aleppo.
