Daraa, Dec. 10 (SANA) Israeli forces carried out an incursion in the village of al-Ardah in western Daraa countryside at midnight and arrested a young man.
SANA reporter in Daraa said Wednesday that occupation forces imposed a security cordon around the village, raided several homes, arrested Muhammad al-Qwaider, a young man, and then withdrew.
Five military vehicles of the occupying force set up a checkpoint yesterday on the old highway between the town of Khan Arnabeh and the village of Ain Aisha in northern Quneitra countryside. They fired shots and smoke bombs at citizens, injuring three.
Israel continues its aggressive policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into southern Syria. Its actions include raids, arrests, forced displacement, destruction of property, and bulldozing of agricultural land.
Syria consistently demands Israel’s withdrawal from its territory, asserting that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void under international law.
