Israel advances into two Quneitra villages as violations escalate

Quneitra, Dec.4 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces advanced Wednesday into Eastern al-Samdaniyah and al-Ajraf in the Quneitra countryside. According to field information, a force consisting of three military vehicles entered the villages and set up a temporary checkpoint between them, near the destroyed water reservoir.

This came less than 24 hours after Israeli forces moved into Western al-Samdaniyah, where they established a checkpoint at the junction leading to the villages of al-Mushayrifah, al-Saayda, and Ruwayhina in southern Quneitra.

These incursions mark a continued pattern of Israeli violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, alongside broader policies in southern Syria, including raids, arbitrary detentions, forced displacement, property destruction, and agricultural land bulldozing.

Syria maintains that all measures taken by Israeli forces in the south are null and void under international law and do not produce any legal effect. Damascus continues to call for the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from Syrian territory and urges the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter repeated violations, and ensure a return to the terms of the 1974 accord.
