President al-Sharaa: Binnish was pioneer in revolution and will be in reconstruction

Damascus-SANA

President Ahmad al-Sharaa made a phone call with residents participating in the “For You, Binnish” campaign, affirming that the state will always support them in their endeavours. He expressed his wish to be present among them, but noted that numerous obligations prevented his attendance.

Al-Sharaa stressed during the call that the people of Binnish, with their merchants, leaders, and cadres, were a beacon of the revolution and at its forefront, and that their city never fell into the hands of the regime.

“Binnish was a pioneer in the revolution, and God willing, it will also be a pioneer in rebuilding the new Syria. We will always stand by you and sacrifice for you. You have sacrificed greatly and offered martyrs, and among you are heroic leaders such as Abu Jamil Qutb and Abu Yusuf. Your sacrifices were immense during the revolution, and you never fell short in your duty. We also hope that you will play a major role in rebuilding Syria anew,” President al-Sharaa said.

He added: “Idleb relied heavily in its development on the people of Binnish, its merchants, and its cadres. God willing, this great work will extend to all of Syria. I apologise for not being present with you, but God willing, in the future we will be together. I wish you success and may your joys endure by God’s will.”
