Dozens of citizens in Deir Ezzor gathered Friday at the Madlaji roundabout in the city center under the slogan “Friday of Syrian Tribes and Clans.”
The protestors denounced violations of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and called for the preservation of Syria’s territorial integrity.
SANA reporter said that the Participants emphasized their commitment to national unity and rejected separatist projects, accusing the SDF of pursuing policies that undermine Syria’s unity.
Residents of Deir Ezzor take to streets every Friday demanding the right of return to their homes and rejecting the SDF’s presence.
Similar rallies were held in other Syrian provinces late last month under the slogan “One Voice for al-Jazira,” condemning SDF assaults against civilians.
