Defense Minister Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra announced the start of the return of dissident recruits and their integration into army formations.
“Believing in the status of defected recruits during the years of the revolution and their authentic role within the military institution, and keen to return them to their normal place, we at the Ministry of Defense have begun to bring back defected recruits and integrate them into the Syrian Arab Army formations, so that they may be a fundamental pillar of the new army and active contributors to the rebuilding process.” The defense minister stated Friday in a post on X.
