Israeli troops entered the area around the village of Ovania in northern Quneitra on Saturday, SANA reporter in the governorate said, marking the latest in a series of violations of the Syrian territory.
“A patrol of 12 Israeli military vehicles including Hilux trucks, troop carriers and jeeps advanced from Hamidiyah toward Ovania and reached al-Ahmar hill” in the northern part of Quneitra, the reporter said.
Syria always condemns the incursion as a violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement and international law, urging the international community to take firm action to stop what it described as repeated Israeli aggressions on Syrian territory.
