Israeli Forces Continue Aggression in Quneitra Governorate

Israeli forces have continued their violations in the Quneitra Governorate, including the planting of landmines and the construction of fortifications at a newly established military post.

A reporter from SANA reported that the Israeli forces planted landmines around a military post they are using as a base in the town of Jubata al-Khashab, located within Jubata Forest and the al-Burj area in northern Quneitra Governorate.

The Israeli forces are intensifying their movements and military activities in the region, attempting to reinforce their fortifications and expand their control over surrounding land. These actions represent a clear violation of UN Security Council Resolution 497, which affirms that the Golan Heights is Syrian territory and condemns Israeli practices there.

Israel continues aggressions on Syrian territory, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law, and various UN resolutions. Syria strongly condemns these violations and calls on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take immediate action to halt them.
