Interior Minister: Securing Elections Reflects Commitment to Protecting People’s Will

Interior Minister Anas Khattab emphasized that the ministry’s success in securing the People’s Assembly elections is an outcome of continued efforts to protect the Syrian people’s will reflected in their participation in the elections to shape their own future.

In a post on the X platform late Sunday, Khattab stated that the “People’s Assembly elections represent a fundamental pillar in building the Syrian state,” though he said that the path ahead remains long.

He hailed the ministry units’ efforts to secure the elections and their dedication to protecting citizens’ right to freely express their choices
