The Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management announced Thursday that a firefighter was martyred while battling wildfires in the Lattakia countryside.
The ministry identified the martyr as Ali Salhab of the Lattakia Fire Brigade, he died from severe burns sustained while fighting the wildfires on Monday.
