Sweida, SANA- Governor of Sweida Mustafa al-Bakour announced Monday that technical and administrative teams will be deployed to the villages of the western countryside to restore basic services in preparation for the return of residents to their homes.
In a statement published by the governorate’s Telegram channel, Al-Bakour said that the start will be in the villages of al-Mazra’a, al-Tha’la, and the surrounding areas to restore health centers, reactivate the Syriatel cellular network tower to provide communications and internet services to the surrounding areas.
He added that teams of Ministry of Education conducted a field visit to schools in a number of villages to determine their needs for minor maintenance and school supplies, ensuring readiness for the start of the upcoming school year.
The governor also said that a delegation from the Ministry of Economy inspected bakeries to assess their needs for flour, fuel, and spare parts, in preparation for resuming operations and stabilizing the bread supply.
