Damascus, SANA – Syrian Minister of Information Dr. Hamza Al-Mustafa reviewed on Tuesday, with directors of media departments in various ministries and public bodies, the new roadmap for developing government media performance.

Minister Al-Mustafa presented general guidelines for the performance of media departments. He underscored the importance of the Media Office in each relevant ministry being part of the decision-making process, playing a proactive role in assessing the impact of policies and decisions on the society, assessing gaps, and responding promptly to issues of public concern.

Minister Al-Mustafa emphasized the need to enhance direct communication with citizens and formulate a national media discourse. He also stated that “providing the elements of government media success poses a priority to the Ministry of Information at this stage.”
