Erdogan: living conditions’ improvement in Syria is essential for the return of refugees

Ankara, SANA- Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, affirmed Thursday that his country is exerting its tireless efforts to ensure security and stability in Syria, noting the importance of enhancing social and economic welfare as a basis for the return of Syrian refugees to their homeland.

Erdogan, in a phone call with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker, “Improving living conditions in Syria is the cornerstone for accelerating the voluntary return of refugees,” Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker said, according to Anadolu Agency.

Last Saturday, the Turkish president told reporters that his country supports everything that contributes to Syria’s prosperity and strengthening its stability.
