79 martyrs in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza Strip

Occupied Jerusalem ,SANA-Israeli warplanes continued their assault on the Gaza Strip Wednesday, committing new massacres that resulted in the martyrdom of 79 Palestinians and the injury of dozens following heavy bombardments targeting residential areas throughout the besieged territory.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the airstrikes struck al-Shuja’iya neighborhood and al-Shati refugee camp in western Gaza, as well as al-Nuseirat camp in the center of the Strip, and the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah in the south. The strikes caused a large number of casualties, most of them women and children.

Medical sources told the agency that since the beginning of the ongoing Israeli offensive in October 2023, the death toll has risen to 56,156, with 132,239 injured. Rescue teams continue to struggle to reach those trapped under rubble and along destroyed roads.

The assault includes intense bombardments, blockade, starvation, and forced displacement, amid a clear disregard for the International Court of Justice’s rulings and humanitarian appeals calling for an immediate ceasefire and an end to the ongoing suffering.
