Paris, SANA- Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein announced Friday that his country will invite the Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa to attend the upcoming Arab League summit in Baghdad.
“Iraq, which hosts the Arab League summit next May, will extend an invitation to all Arab leaders, including Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa,” Minister Hussein said in a statement to France 24 on the sidelines of his participation in the Paris conference on Syria.
Hussein added that Iraq has no reservations about dealing with the new Syrian leadership.
