Cairo, June 21 (SANA) Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a trilateral meeting in Cairo on Sunday with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, focusing on regional developments, according to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of a broader gathering of regional stakeholders hosted in the Egyptian capital.
In a statement, the ministry spokesperson said the discussions reflected ongoing coordination and consultations among the three countries on issues of mutual concern.
The ministers discussed developments in Gaza, Sudan and Libya, as well as Iran-related issues and the situation in the Horn of Africa.
They stressed the importance of continued coordination to support regional security and stability and to advance efforts aimed at resolving ongoing crises.
On Saturday, the three ministers had also met in Cairo with a senior adviser to the U.S. president for Arab and African affairs, Massad Boulos, to discuss a range of regional issues.
