Occupied Jerusalem, June 14 (SANA) The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 72,996, while the number of wounded has reached 173,240, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that hospitals across the Gaza Strip received three deaths and 16 injured people during the past 24 hours.

The ministry added that the number of victims recorded since the ceasefire of Oct. 10 has reached 986 deaths and 3,138 injuries.

It noted that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them because of the ongoing conditions on the ground.

The latest figures come as Israeli military operations against the Palestinian people continue across the Gaza Strip, accompanied by extensive destruction of infrastructure and residential areas and worsening humanitarian conditions.
