Beirut, June 6 (SANA) Seven people were killed and four others injured in Israeli strikes that targeted several areas in southern Lebanon.
According to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), Israeli warplanes carried out three airstrikes on the town of Saksakiyeh in the Sidon city, killing six people and injuring four others in a preliminary toll.
Another person was killed when an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle on Deir al-Zahrani highway in the Nabatieh district.
The agency added that Israeli drones also carried out strikes targeting a vehicle on the Zahrani road in Nabatieh without causing casualties, while other attacks hit areas in Shahabiya in the Tyre district and Sarafand in the Sidon district.
The latest strikes come a day after eight people were killed in Israeli air raids on towns across southern Lebanon.
