Antalya, April 17 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa met with UN High Commissioner for Refugees Barham Salih on the sidelines of the 5th Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where they discussed refugee issues, enhancing humanitarian cooperation, and supporting stability and recovery efforts.
President al-Sharaa, who arrived in Türkiye on Thursday to attend the forum, is taking part in the event held under the theme “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties,” which brings together more than 20 heads of state and senior international officials to address global challenges.
On the sidelines of the forum, the president also held a series of bilateral meetings, including with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Yemeni Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Shaya Mohsin Zindani, and Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani, focusing on cooperation and regional developments.
