Damascus, July 26 (SANA) U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres on Sunday offered his condolences to the families of those killed in a deadly bus crash on the Deir Ezzor–Damascus highway, as well as to the Syrian government and people.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic bus accident on the Damascus–Deir Ezzor highway, and to the government and people of Syria,” Guterres wrote in a post on X.
The crash, which occurred on Saturday, killed 35 people and injured 30 others, according to a preliminary official toll.
