Riyadh, April 9 (SANA) — Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud met on Wednesday in Jeddah with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the two sides reviewed the historical relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom and explored opportunities to expand cooperation across various fields.
The discussions also covered the latest regional and international developments, particularly developments in the Middle East and their security and economic implications.
Both leaders affirmed their support for efforts aimed at enhancing regional security and stability, and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
Starmer’s visit to Saudi Arabia marks the start of a Gulf tour aimed at supporting ceasefire efforts in the Middle East.
