Amman, March 24 (SANA) King Abdullah II of Jordan discussed with Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, ways to stop military escalation in the region during a phone call on Tuesday.

King Abdullah stressed the need to reach an agreement to end the war and ensure the security of Arab states, noting that Gulf security is essential for regional and global stability.

He also emphasized the importance of intensifying coordination and cooperation to strengthen collective Arab security, praising Oman’s efforts to promote de-escalation through diplomacy and dialogue.

Several countries in the region have been subjected to Iranian missile and drone attacks since February 28, resulting in casualties and material damage.
