Bahrain says warehouse fire contained, condemns attacks on Kuwait refineries

Manama, March 20 (SANA) Bahrain’s Interior Ministry said a fire broke out in a company warehouse on Friday after shrapnel fell during Iranian aggression, adding that civil defense teams quickly contained the blaze with no injuries reported.

In a statement posted on X and carried by the Bahrain News Agency, the ministry said emergency crews brought the situation under control and secured the site.

In a separate statement, Bahrain strongly condemned attacks targeting Kuwait’s Al-Ahmadi and Abdullah refineries, calling them a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed Bahrain’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for measures to safeguard its sovereignty and security, while praising Kuwaiti authorities for efforts to counter security threats, particularly in uncovering cells affiliated with Hezbollah terrorist organization.

It also called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take firm action in response to attacks targeting civilian, economic and energy infrastructure in the region, and warned against threats to international maritime navigation.
