Abu Dhabi, March 16 (SANA) The Dubai Government Media Office announced on Monday that a drone attack near Dubai International Airport caused damage to one of the fuel tanks in the vicinity of the facility.
In a statement on X, officials said civil defense crews were working to contain the fire and that no injuries had been reported. Authorities responded immediately and are taking all necessary precautions.
The incident comes amid heightened regional tensions, with U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran and Iranian missile and drone attacks affecting infrastructure across the region.
