Riyadh, March 11 (SANA) Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan discussed escalating regional tensions on Wednesday in separate talks with his counterparts from the United States and Germany, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Bin Farhan held a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, during which the two officials discussed recent Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region.
The ministers exchanged views on efforts to maintain Saudi Arabia’s security and ensure the safety of its citizens and residents, SPA reported.
In a separate meeting in Riyadh on Tuesday evening, Bin Farhan and German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The two officials also discussed regional developments and their security implications.
Wadephul expressed Germany’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks and affirmed Berlin’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the importance of regional and international efforts to promote stability and peace.
