Colombo, March 4 (SANA) Sri Lanka said Wednesday that dozens of people were injured or missing after a submarine attack on an Iranian ship off the country’s coast.
Sources in Sri Lanka’s Defense Ministry and Navy said at least 101 people were missing and 78 others injured after a submarine attacked an Iranian vessel off the Sri Lankan coast. Thirty people have been rescued.
The Sri Lankan Navy dispatched a rescue mission after receiving a distress call from the Iranian ship.
The incident comes as the conflict between the United States and Israel on one side and Iran on the other enters its fifth day.
