Occupied Jerusalem, March 4 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank on Wednesday, detaining dozens of Palestinians.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Israeli forces stormed neighborhoods in the city of Hebron, as well as the towns of Beit Ula, Surif and Beit Ummar to the north, and Dura to the south.
Raids were also carried out in Tubas and the nearby town of Tammun, as well as in the villages of Talfit, Al-Badhan, Al-Lubban Al-Sharqiya and Tell near Nablus. In Jenin, forces entered the town of Ya’bad and the Wadi Az-Zin area, arresting 32 Palestinians in total.
They also stormed the town of Bidya in Salfit and closed its main and secondary entrances with earth mounds.
Israeli forces continued their raid on the town of Ya’bad, south of Jenin, for the third consecutive day, turning homes into military outposts.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces arrested more than 30 Palestinians in the West Bank and in the city of Umm al-Fahm inside Israel.
