U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia warns of possible Iranian attack on Dhahran
U.S. Embassy in Riyadh

Riyadh, March 3 (SANA) – The United States Embassy in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday issued a warning about a potential Iranian missile or drone attack targeting the eastern city of Dhahran.

In a statement cited by Reuters, the embassy said the possible strike could affect Dhahran, which hosts the U.S. Consulate and the headquarters of Saudi Aramco.

Earlier in the day, the U.S. embassies in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait announced temporary closures after Iranian drones struck their premises, causing minor material damage without injuries.

Iran has continued launching missile and drone attacks against Gulf states in response to ongoing U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iranian territory since Saturday, resulting in casualties and infrastructure damage across parts of the region.
