Trump says U.S. has destroyed nearly all Iranian military targets
U.S. President, Donald Trump

Washington, March 3 (SANA) – U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that American forces have destroyed “nearly all” of Iran’s military targets, claiming significant progress in the ongoing campaign against Tehran.

Speaking at the White House ahead of a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Trump said the United States had achieved major success in neutralizing Iran’s air defenses and surveillance infrastructure, adding that Iranian military capabilities were “gradually eroding.”

He also asserted that Iran had sought to reopen negotiations with Washington, though he described the timing as “too late.”

Addressing concerns over military supplies, Trump said the United States possesses extensive stockpiles of medium- and long-range munitions, arguing that U.S. forces are capable of sustaining prolonged operations if necessary.

His remarks followed a report by The Washington Post citing U.S. defense officials who warned that interceptor missiles and air defense inventories are being depleted at a rapid pace amid the escalating confrontation with Iran.

Joint U.S.-Israeli strikes against Iranian targets have continued since Saturday, while Tehran has intensified missile and drone attacks against several Arab states, targeting infrastructure, civilian and diplomatic facilities, as well as energy installations.
