Occupied Jerusalem, Mar. 1 (SANA) Israeli media reported Sunday that eight Israelis were killed after Iranian missile strikes fell in the vicinity of Jerusalem.
According to the Israel Broadcasting Authority, one of the missiles struck the roof of a shelter in Beit Shemesh, leaving eight people dead and 27 others injured in a preliminary toll.
The attacks come as Iran intensified its missile bombardment on Israel early Sunday following a joint strike on Iranian territory by the United States and Israel.
Earlier on Saturday, the Iranian strikes resulted in the death of an Israeli woman and the injury of more than 20 others in several areas, while millions of Israelis headed to shelters.
