Amman, Feb. 28 (SANA) Jordan’s King Abdullah II said Saturday in a phone call with French President Emmanuel Macron that the kingdom will take all necessary measures to protect its security following Iranian missile attacks on Jordan and other Arab countries.
According to the Jordan News Agency, the king stressed the importance of respecting the sovereignty of states and pursuing diplomatic solutions to overcome crises and restore regional stability. He also reiterated his condemnation of Iranian attacks on Jordan and other Gulf states.
Earlier, France, Germany and the United Kingdom condemned Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan in a joint statement, stressing their rejection of actions that threaten regional security and stability.
