Berlin, March 30 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa met German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Monday in Berlin during his first official visit to Germany, marking a step in bilateral engagement between the two countries.
Steinmeier received al-Sharaa at the presidential palace in the German capital ahead of talks between the two leaders.
The meeting comes as part of efforts to advance dialogue and discuss issues of mutual interest between Syria and Germany.
