Occupied Jerusalem, Feb.23 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of pre-dawn raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank on Monday, arresting 10 Palestinians, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
In Hebron, two Palestinians were detained after Israeli forces raided and searched their homes. In the northern West Bank, troops stormed the town of Ya’bad, south of Jenin, arresting a young man and deploying widely across the area. A wedding hall was reportedly converted into a field interrogation center during the operation.
In the central West Bank, two Palestinians were arrested in the town of Deir Abu Mash’al in Ramallah and al-Bireh. Additional arrests were reported in the towns of Huwara and Asira near Nablus. In Bethlehem, three Palestinians were detained following a raid on the town of Tuqu‘, southeast of the city.
On Sunday, Israeli forces arrested eight Palestinians, including three children, during similar raids in multiple West Bank areas.
Israeli forces continue to conduct daily arrest campaigns throughout the occupied West Bank, targeting various age groups amid ongoing field escalation, repeated incursions into towns and refugee camps, and house searches that often result in property damage.
