Jerusalem. 14, Feb (SANA) Israeli forces carried out a wide-scale raid early Saturday across various parts of the West Bank, arresting 19 Palestinians.
According to Palestinian media, a Palestinian was detained in Bethlehem city, and two others in the nearby town of al-Khader. Seven were arrested during raids on Balata, Old Askar, and New Askar camps near Nablus, and the town of Madama south of it. In Qalqilya, five Palestinians were detained at the Surra checkpoint.
Raids also targeted Bethlehem town, al-Arroub camp north of Hebron, and Jerusalem, where one Palestinian was arrested near the al-Aqsa Mosque. Some Palestinians in Nablus were injured by tear gas and stun grenades during the incursions.
Israeli forces regularly conduct raids across West Bank towns and villages, accompanied by arrests, road closures, and settler attacks on Palestinians and their property, particularly in the Jordan Valley, often under military protection.
