Washington, Jan. 21 (SANA) U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa is a “strong” leader who is working hard for his country, according to remarks made at a press conference.
Trump described president al-Sharaa as “strong and tough,” following a phone call between the two leaders on Monday that focused on the situation in Syria.
He also said Syria hosts “some of the most dangerous terrorists in the world,” adding that U.S. authorities are closely monitoring their activities.
