GAZA, Dec. 9 (SANA) The Gaza Media Office said Tuesday that Israeli forces have carried out 738 violations of the ceasefire agreement since it came into effect on October 10, saying these actions undermine efforts to ease Gaza’s humanitarian crisis.
In a statement, the office said the violations include 205 incidents of direct gunfire, 37 military incursions into residential areas, 358 shelling or targeting attacks on civilians and their homes, and 138 demolitions of homes and civilian facilities.
According to the statement, these incidents have resulted in 386 Palestinian deaths, 980 injuries, and 43 detentions.
The office also accused Israel of failing to meet its humanitarian obligations, saying that only 13,511 aid trucks had entered Gaza out of the 36,000 agreed upon, and that just 315 fuel trucks—about 10 percent of the expected amount—had been delivered.
The office called on the international community, the United Nations, and mediating parties to press Israel to fully comply with the agreement and ensure the protection of civilians, as well as the delivery of humanitarian aid and fuel.
