Boeing Workers Continue Strike, Reject Company’s Latest Offer

Workers at Boeing plants have rejected the company’s latest proposal to end their strike, which began a month ago. The approximately 3,200 machinists on strike stated that the offer did not address their key priorities.

After days of negotiations, Boeing proposed an overall 45% salary increase over the five years of the contract, along with various bonuses, stock grants, improved health coverage, and increased leave. Despite this offer, the strike has continued for 83 days.

According to Boeing, the salary increase would amount to between $75,000 and $109,000 over five years for workers.
