Spain Calls for Repealing all Agreements between The European Union and Israel

Spain’s Deputy Prime Minister Yolanda Diaz called for Repealing all partnership agreements between the European Union and Israel, following the Israeli occupation’s attack on the ” Global Sumud Flotilla to break the siege of Gaza Strip”, and detaining more than 400 persons from 45 countries onboard.

“I am sending a message to the European community, all agreements with Israel must be completely broken off, it kills Palestinian children and violates international law against Spanish and other activists from all over the world.”, Diaz told reporters.

She criticized the European Union’s silence on the Israeli government’s practices, its violations of international humanitarian law, and its perpetration of genocide, calling for the immediate release of Spanish citizens and activists detained by the Israeli occupation.

The Global Sumud flotilla was intercepted by Israeli forces Wednesday midnight in international waters in the Mediterranean Sea while en route to Gaza to break Israeli blockade ,seizing dozens of its vessels, and kidnapping hundreds of activists on board.
