Canada’s foreign ministry called Israel’s new ground offensive in Gaza City “horrific.”
“It worsens the humanitarian crisis and that “the Israel Government must adhere to international law.” the foreign ministry said in a post on X.
The ministry added: “Canada stands with international partners in calling for an immediate and lasting ceasefire and for the delivery of unrestricted humanitarian aid.”
