Gaza, SANA- Thousands of protesters gathered in Australia, New Zealand and Germany on Sunday demanding an end to the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Melbourne city in Australia witnessed, Sunday, the 100th weekly protest as a part of a series of peaceful demonstrations held over the past two years across several Australian cities, denouncing the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza Strip.
According to local media, thousands of demonstrators gathered in the city center, holding signs calling for an end to Israeli attacks and the imposition of sanctions on the occupation.
Protests also continued in other cities such as Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide, with participation from groups across various political and social backgrounds.
In New Zealand, around 50,000 people took part in what was described as the largest demonstration in the country’s history in support of the Palestinian people.
The march began at “Aotea Square” in Auckland and ended at “Victoria Park,” where participants demanded an end to Israeli aggression, the lifting of the blockade on Gaza, and the entry of humanitarian aid.
According to Radio New Zealand, protesters waved Palestinian flags and chanted anti-normalization slogans, urging the government to take a clear stance and impose sanctions on Israel over its grave violations in the region.
In the German capital Berlin, around 12,000 people gathered at the Brandenburg Gate, calling for an end to the “genocide” in Gaza and rejecting Israeli policies in the Strip.
Participants raised Palestinian flags and peace symbols, chanting slogans demanding a halt to arms shipments to Israel.
These popular movements come amid growing international protests demanding an end to Israeli aggression on Gaza, alongside increasing calls for urgent political and humanitarian measures to protect civilians and lift the blockade on the Strip.
