President Ahmad al-Sharaa met with members of the Syrian community in the United States, stressing the importance of their role in “conveying the true image of the Syrian Arab Republic,” according to a statement from the Syrian Presidency released Sunday evening U.S. time.
The meeting was attended by senior Syrian officials, including Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, Information Minister Dr. Hamza al-Mustafa, and Syria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ibrahim Olabi.
