Kuala Lumpur, SANA – Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stressed Sunday that Israeli attacks on Arab states constitute a “serious violation” of international law that threatens stability of the entire region.
“Israel’s attacks against six countries in the region in just one or two weeks cannot be accepted. This level of insolence is unacceptable”, Malaysian newspaper The Star quoted Ibrahim as saying, in a statement before heading to Doha to participate in the emergency Arab-Islamic summit scheduled for tomorrow.
Anwar added that Israel had targeted Qatar, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen in a short period of time, in addition to the Global Steadfastness Flotilla in Tunisian territorial waters.
He stressed that Israel has “crossed all red lines” and that there is no one to deter it.
