Occupied Jerusalem, SANA- Five Palestinians, including a child, have died from starvation and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, as Israel’s continued blockade prevents the entry of humanitarian aid amid the war of extermination it has been waging since October 2023.
According to medical sources cited by WAFA news agency, hospitals in Gaza recorded five new deaths due to hunger-related causes, raising the total number of starvation and malnutrition fatalities to 404, including 141 children.
The United Nations officially declared a famine in Gaza on August 22. Since then, 126 deaths have been documented, among them 26 children, as the population faces extreme food insecurity, forced displacement, and siege conditions imposed by Israeli forces.
