Occupied Jerusalem, SANA– Israeli forces launched a wave of heavy bombardments on Gaza at dawn Monday, killing and wounding dozens of Palestinians, many of them women and children, in densely populated neighborhoods and refugee camps.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, airstrikes and artillery fire targeted the Sabra and Sheikh Radwan districts in southern Gaza City, the Rimal area and Beach refugee camp to the west, and the Tuffah neighborhood to the north. Strikes also hit Deir al-Balah and Maghazi camp in central Gaza. Witnesses said some victims were civilians waiting in line for humanitarian aid.
Residents reported that several families remain trapped under siege inside Gaza City as shelling and building demolitions continued, severely damaging housing blocks and essential infrastructure. Rights groups described the operations as violations of international humanitarian law.
