UNRWA Calls for an end to bombing and unrestricted Humanitarian access to Gaza

Amman, SANA- UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) called once again for putting an end to the continued shelling on Gaza as part of an agreement that would alleviate suffering of the Strip people and ensure constant delivering of essential supplies.

In a tweet posted on (X) platform, UNRWA stressed that the shelling must stop all over Gaza Strip, must save lives and allow aid to enter there.

In its tweet, UNRWA hoped that thousands of trucks loaded with food, medicine, and hygiene supplies must be allowed to enter the Strip currently, noting that at least 600 trucks of essential supplies are needed daily.

The number of children dying of hunger and malnutrition is increasing on a daily basis, as well the number of deaths of starvation have reached more than 100 people, meanwhile more than 10,000 employees are in Gaza and they are ready to distribute the aid convoys as they reach, according to UNRWA.
