Jordan strongly condemns Israel’s plan to reoccupy Gaza Strip

Amman, SANA – Jordan condemned Sunday Israel’s plan to reoccupy Gaza Strip and fully impose its control over it, calling for serious action to end occupation and the suffering of Palestinian people.

Petra official news agency quoted Jordan’s Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Amjad Adaileh as saying during the extraordinary meeting of the league in Cairo that “Time has come for serious and responsible action to end this occupation and stop the suffering of the Palestinian people, before the region and the world pay a greater price for this ongoing injustice.”

“Israel continues its rejected violations against Palestinian land and people, in a blatant defiance of international law and relevant UN resolutions, and continues its unilateral plans aimed at entrenching the illegal occupation, expanding aggression, and imposing military control” ” Adailh added.

He warned that Israel’s plan to reoccupy Gaza constitutes a dangerous escalation and illegal aggression, that undermines all international resolutions and blatantly breaches international humanitarian law.
