A German medical delegation arrives in Deir Ezzor to provide healthcare

A German medical delegation arrives in Deir Ezzor to provide healthcare

Deir Ezzor, SANA- A German medical delegation arrived Monday in Deir Ezzor Governorate to participate in “Shifaa” campaign, launched by Health Ministry to provide free medical and surgical care to the most vulnerable people in various governorates.

The delegation was received by Deir Ezzor Governor, Ghassan al-Sayyed Ahmed, and a number of officials of Health Ministry, the governorate said on its Telegram Channel.

The campaign, organized in cooperation with Syrian Gathering in Germany (SGD) and Independent Doctors Association (IDA), is entitled under the slogan “Hand in Hand for Syria.”

It also runs from 5th to 26th April with the participation of 100 Syrian expatriate doctors, specializing in neurosurgery, orthopedics, cardiology, pediatrics, and medical consultations in all fields.

The participating doctors are expected to perform about 700 surgical operations in several governorates.
