Damascus, SANA- Acting Minister of Health Dr. Maher al-Sharaa revealed the ministry’s plan to establish approximately 2,000 health centers in all provinces.
During a meeting held on Thursday at the ministry’s building with the Buildings Department of the Ministry’s Directorate of Common Services, Minister al-Sharaa stressed the need to adhere to high quality standards when selecting models for these centers, with regard to the medical services they will provide, including ambulance services, laboratories, and radiology, as well as the specialized clinics they will include.
An explanatory video and pictures of models of these centers were also presented, along with the available options, their costs, the mechanism of work, and the duration of their implementation if they are approved.
