Damascus, SANA- During his meeting Sunday with director of pharmaceutical control in Health ministry, Acting Health Minister, Dr. Maher al-Sharaa, discussed ways to develop work and improve the reality of drug security in Syria.
Dr. al-Sharaa underlined the importance of pharmaceutical control to ensure the delivery of a safe product to patients, and to work on raising the value and quality of the pharmaceutical product manufactured in Syria, stressing the necessity of qualifying workers in this field and controlling quality standards.
In turn, Director of pharmaceutical control at the Ministry, Dr. Ibrahim al-Hassani, noted to the directorate’s work mechanism such conducting inspection tours of Drug laboratories preparing reports on these tours, in addition to other several measures.
