Damascus, Jan. 23 (SANA)The Ministry of Health announced on Friday the end of the state of emergency in the governorates of Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, and Raqqa, and the beginning of the effective transition to the recovery phase, following the completion of the necessary measures within the framework of the emergency health response.
In a statement, the ministry specified that efforts will be focused, during the next phase, on ensuring the sustainability of essential health services, including primary healthcare, national immunisation programmes, maternal and child health, and care for the elderly.
The ministry affirmed that the Public Health Emergency Operations Center had conducted field visits in the governorates of Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, and Raqqa to assess the current health situation.
The ministry stressed that it is continuing health monitoring in all regions, with particular attention to the areas of Hasaka, Qamishli, and Ain al-Arab, to ensure an immediate response to any changes in the health situation.
